Emilio Silvas

I am a Web Developer and volunteer Youth Minister at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church & School in San Antonio, Texas. Not knowing if I wanted to be a doctor or priest, I graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Biology.

After spending a decade performing cancer research, I left the lab bench and move into an office. I helped form and eventually sold my interest in an Internet applications firm. Since then, I have developed applications for both my employer and private clients.

Along the way, I joined my wife in her beloved Episcopal Diocese of West Texas, where I am also on the IT Committee. After several ministry experiences, I accepted an appointment as Youth Minister.  It has been the best experience of my church life.

My weapon of choice is a Macbook Pro 15″ Core i7.
